Guidetail Pen
Wooden Carved Dip Pens

These pen holders and dip pen are carved in the Black Forest with great skill.
The type of calligraphy one would write with these elbow pens is called copperplate or roundhand.

Hands. loose balls caged and botanical motifs are common. The gun, however, was carved on St. Helena by an imprisoned French soldier.
