Ivory and Bone Dip Pens
This bone carved pen reminds me of Javanese shadow puppets.
These pens are lathe turned bone with several parts that unscrew. Some have stanhopes (a minuscule image is magnified through a convex crystal.) Stanhopes usually had architectural buildings or other tourist sites. Many pens of this type are missing their stanhopes.
